Saphire begging

It was a dark night in the kingdom where she lived that night that would change her life.
Saphire was trying to sleep but for some strange reason she couldn't she got out of bed and went to the window and looked out. All the stars were covered but the clouds and the moon was barley giving out any light.
She was a princess loved by all her subjects even though she was only 5. Her Father and Mother loved her more than anything, for she was there only child.

She jumped when she heard a scream from the direction of the kitchen. She was about to go see what all the commotion was about when her nurse ran into the room terror written all over her face.

"Whats going on" Saphire asked trying to to sound scared.
"You must flee you highness, the castle has been attacked by strange shadows and you mother wants you out right away"

Before Saphire could say anything her nurse had thrown a cloak over shoulders and ushered her out of her room. As they were starting down the hallway she heard someone running down the hallway she stopped and looked behind her. It was her mother. She tugged her hand out of her nurses grip and started toward her mother. But before she could get to her a big shadow like creature enveloped her mother. She screamed as she lost sight of her mother. Her nurse quickly picked her up and ran as fast as she could away from the castle.

When she was out side the palace gates she set Saphire down and told her to run as fast as she could to the woods. There was nothing else to do so Saphire ran as fast as her legs would take her. When she was in the woods she kept running trying to see through her tears. She brought her arm up to wipe away her tears and tripped over her own feet and hit her head on a rock and everything went black.

When she woke up her head was hurting and she couldn't remember anything. She stood up slowly and felt her forehead above her right eye. She felt something wet, she looked at her hand gasped. Her hand was red with blood. She did't know what to do and she started thinking franticly "How can I stop the bleeding" she said outloud to herself. She looked down at her dress and noticed that the hem was ripped. She reached down and pulled on the rip untill the whole hem of her scurt was ripped off. She rapped the fabric around her head and tied it in a knot.

That's all I can think of for now I will continue later!

Saphire started walking through the woods trying to remember what happened to her. The only thing she could remember was that her name was Saphire or at least that's what she thought her name was. She couldn't remember who her parents were (or even if they were alive), where she had come from, or where she was.
She kept walking till she found a stream and sat down beside it. She looked into the water at her reflection and noticed how dirty her face was so she got onto her knees and put her hand out to get some water to wash her face. To her surprise the water came up into her hand with out her even having to touch it. She pulled her hand away from the water expecting the water in her hand to fall through her fingers. But again to her surprise the water stayed in her hand as if her hand were a bowl.
